During the same occasion, the city’s top official will distribute rice and packed meals to the affected residents.
Regarding health, they have prepared several ambulances along with medical personnel to provide healthcare services to the flood victims.
House Repairs
The Bandar Lampung city administration plans to provide assistance for repairing damaged houses due to the impact of the severe flood. The amount varies depending on the extent of the damage.
Document Repairs
The flood on Saturday night scattered several documents, some of which were carried away or damaged by the water. Considering this, Mayor Eva Dwiana will provide special services for civil documents and other documents, including educational documents such as diplomas.
River Flow Normalization
The discovery of the conversion of river bodies into buildings made Mayor Eva Dwiana shake her head in disbelief. This is because building on river bodies is one of the main factors causing the narrowing of river flows and eventual blockages.
She plans to normalize the buildings on river bodies to comply with applicable regulations.
Additionally, river raids programs will continue to be intensified to remove garbage and sedimentation at the bottom of rivers and streams in the city of Bandar Lampung.
